I was inspired by a lot of different writers, but there were some authors with distinct voices that felt similar to my own, storytelling voices different than the other authors I had read, and that is what really inspired me to start writing because I realized there might be an audience for my style of writing as well. I think from a young age I wanted to be a writer but it wasn’t until I was in the mid to late 20’s that I wrote my first story that was published. My family loves to read, and I grew up reading a lot of books. What got you into writing in the beginning?
